The Jurnal AbdiMas Unisa is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows its guidelines in dealing with cases of suspected misconduct.
The journal's editorial board is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the publication process, and all editorial decisions are made based on the validity of the work in question, its importance to the field, and its potential impact on the research community.
Publication Ethics
- Double-Blind Peer Review: The journal uses a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of the published articles. Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.
- Authorship: The journal follows the standard definition of authorship as stated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Authors must have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research.
- Originality and Plagiarism: The journal checks for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Authors must ensure that their work is original and properly cite any sources used in their research.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may have influenced their research. Reviewers must also disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts if a conflict exists.
Licensing and Copyright
Articles published in the Jurnal AbdiMas Unisa are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY). This license allows users to share, adapt, distribute, and reproduce the work in any medium or format, as long as the original authors and source are properly cited.
By submitting their work to the journal, authors agree to the terms of the CC-BY license and grant the journal the right to publish their work under these terms.
Retraction and Correction Policies
The journal follows the COPE guidelines for retracting and correcting articles. In cases of suspected misconduct or errors, the journal will investigate and take necessary actions to correct or retract the article.
Retractions will be clearly labeled as such, and corrections will be made promptly and transparently. The journal will also notify the relevant indexing and abstracting services of any corrections or retractions.
