Plagiarism Policy
The Multi Sain & Tehnologi Unisa journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct. As a member of the academic community, we adhere to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and take plagiarism very seriously.
Plagiarism is defined as the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or words as one's own, without proper citation or credit. This includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, paraphrasing, and self-plagiarism. We use a range of tools and techniques to detect plagiarism, including cross-checking with online databases and using specialized software.
To ensure the originality and authenticity of submitted manuscripts, we require all authors to:
- Provide accurate and complete references for all sources cited in the manuscript
- Obtain permission from the original author or copyright holder for any borrowed material
- Clearly indicate any overlap with previously published work, including their own
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest or funding sources that may have influenced the research
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be subject to the following consequences:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript
- Notification of the author's institution or funding agency, if applicable
- Possible ban from future submissions to the journal
We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our readers, authors, and reviewers. By upholding the highest standards of academic integrity, we aim to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and respect for the intellectual property of others.
